| Synopsis: |

Dole Asia Limited
contracted RADIX to analyze, design, develop and implement an
integrated Materials Requirements Planning System for their Agriculture
Division. The system enables Agriculture to have a fair estimate of the
required materials as well as the scheduling of activities needed to
meet the desired fruit tonnage output.
The system is composed of two main parts: Planning and
Actual Field Data Entry. The Planning is done using PCs while the Actual
field data are entered into the AS/400. The actual field data are used
by the planning side to make the projections.
The Planning side was programmed by DOLE and the
AS/400 Actual field data entry by RADIX. The AS/400 modules
consist of the following:
